Although I love Dublin, Ireland has so much more to offer outside of their capital city. And there are plenty of short-day trip options. Sugarloaf Mountain has great hiking trails that are just about an hour outside of Dublin by public transportation and offer amazing views of Dublin and the Wicklow Mountains!
